Senior Automation/Integration Consultant

About the role:

As an Sr.Automation Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining various automation and integration solutions connecting different systems and applications to improve the efficiency and productivity of business processes.

You are expected to lead the customer engagements and take care of end-to-end delivery. You will work on challenging automation/integration projects using tools like BMC TrueSight Orchestration, Jitterbit, eBonding (Fusion GBS's flagship product), MuleSoft, Dell Boomi and other relevant technologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document existing business processes to identify opportunities for automation/integration.
• Design, Develop and Implement custom automation solutions using various tools & technologies.
• Help PMs, SDMs, Architects, Sales/Pre-Sales people in solutioning the requirements.
• Work with integration tools like BMC Truesight Orchestration, Jitterbit, eBonding, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi or other platforms to build integration workflows and APIs.
• Develop custom code or scripts in Unix, PowerShell, JavaScript etc. as needed for complex integration scenarios.
• Implement and test automation solutions and provide training to users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues promptly.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, APIs, and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions.
• Work with clients to identify new automation opportunities and continuously improve existing solutions.
• Guide Juniors and help the Sales team to present Demos and Proof of Concepts.
• Lead by example to deliver best and help colleagues.

Experiences

• 7-12 years of experience working with Automation or Integration technologies.

Knowledge

• Expert knowledge of at least one of the below technologies:
  • BMC TrueSight Orchestration
  • Jitterbit
  • MuleSoft
  • Dell Boomi
• Strong knowledge of automation concepts, APIs, Web Services, Connectors, etc.
• Expertise in XML, JSON, REST, SOAP
• Good Understanding of Network Protocols and connectivity.
• Good experience of SSL certificates and configurations.
• Knowledge of Java, Ansible, Python or JavaScript or any other automation technology will be add-on.
• Knowledge of Docker-Containers

Skills

• Experience of Leading Development & Delivery, Managing team etc.
• Experience with on-prem and cloud-based automation platforms.
• Experience of working with Agile methodologies
• Experience with developing complex integrations.
• Experience with security best practices for automation solutions.
• Confident to lead the development and guide juniors.
• BMC Helix ITSM or ServiceNow ITSM Knowledge will be preferable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to interact and communicate with customers to drive client value.
• A proven ability to develop positive working relationships in a distributed team and to create effective collaboration with direct and extended team members.
• Accountable for meeting project delivery deadlines and taking ownership of the work.
• Proven ability to work in a pressurized development and customer environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications / Certifications

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
