Senior Pre-Sales Consultant
About the role
The Senior Presales Consultant will act as a project manager for bids and as an evangelist for Fusion GBS services and defined BMC products. They will work closely with the sales organisation to develop account strategies for long term customer solution outcomes, roadmaps and value realisation, expand the customer footprint, and become a trusted customer advisor.
Tasks / Activities
- Presenting the value, benefits, features and functionality of Fusion services and single pillar BMC
products (i.e. Digital Service Operations or Digital Service Management) to customers at expert
understanding to executive level audience. - Configuring demos to align to customer outcomes
- Delivering/Managing proof of values with customers
- Working with Customers to understand their Strategic, Business and IT initiatives and the critical
Service and Operations Management capabilities required to achieve these - Acting as bid manager on bids
- Writing content for proposals, statements of work, customer road maps
- Assessing risk of Fusion bids and solutions in responding to specific customer requirements
- Providing Value and Solution Engineering expertise for products or solution areas to customers or
Fusion sales - Conducting analysis and maintaining working knowledge of competitive offerings to Fusion and BMC
products - Providing leadership for more junior staff.
Experiences
- Experience supporting ITSM and/or ITOM environments within enterprise and global organisations
- Experience supporting enterprise software sales cycles
- ITIL Certification
- Project management experience
- Hands on experience configuring BMC product solutions
- Strong acumen understanding business economics
Knowledge
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, G-Cloud)
- Previous software development experience in one or more of the following areas: backend (Java, C#,
Python, PHP) - Experience of using business analysis techniques
Skills
- Ability to engage sophisticated global customers in detailed technical discussions, making them
confident that you know their problem. - Ability to present confidently products and ideas to customers
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to facilitate dialog and collaborate
effectively with cross-functional teams to create a consistent customer experience. - Experience developing re-usable sales materials
- Ability to write statements of work
- Ability to influence others with logical arguments
- Ability to work to deadlines
Qualifications / Certifications
HND, degree or equivalent qualification
